Who is Jesus?
Some kids learn math in the classroom through lectures and homework. Some learn by keeping stats on their favourite team. Others go shopping and figure out how much 75% off really is.
The point is everyone learns differently. Now that you’ve decided to investigate who Jesus really is, you have to figure out what’s the best method for you to really start to learn about him.
Here are some ideas:
IN PERSON
We’d love to sit down over a steaming cup of something and talk about who Jesus is. Click here to connect with someone you can talk to personally about Jesus. Or call us at 604.530.7161 ext 100.
Investigate the life of Jesus more thoroughly in our Alpha course.
ON-LINE
Visit www.thelife.com. Whether you want to know some of the historical information about Jesus, or you’d like to know about having a relationship with him, this site is full of great help.
ON PAPER
Find yourself a bible, flip to the table of contents and pick out the chapter called ‘Luke’. There you’ll read an insightful first hand account by a doctor who knew Jesus in the flesh 2000 years ago.
Pick up Lee Strobel’s book, Case for Christ. Lee was an investigative reporter for the Chicago Tribune when he decided to dig deep into the claims of Jesus to find the truth. His life was never the same!
ON THE BIG SCREEN
The Passion of the Christ. Mel Gibson’s telling of the last days of Jesus’ life is a graphic depiction of how far God was willing to go to win our hearts.
The Jesus Film. There won’t be any Academy awards handed out here, but you will get the story of Jesus taken right out of the gospel of Luke. To watch it online visit http://www.jesusfilm.org/languages/index.html pick your language of choice and you’re good to go.
